DECEMBER 20,2003------ I am now living in Washington State,
I WANT PEOPLE TO NOW THAT I CAN NOT TAKE THE HARASSMENT ANY LONGER. MY PRIVACY HAS BEEN INVADED AND MY LIFE IS IN SUCH A BAD WAY BECAUSE OF ALL THE ILLEGAL AND CRUEL ACTION THAT WERE DONE TO ME, BUT WORST OF ALL, I CAN'T FORGET WHAT HAS BEEN DONE, THEY HAVE DONE TOO MUCH AND I WILL NEVER FORGET. AS LONG AS I KNOW THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT, IT WILL DESTROY ME. I HAVE HAD ENOGH PAIN AND TORTURE, ALL BECAUSE I TRIED TO FIGHT. I SOUGHT HELP FROM THE POLICE COMPLAINT CENTER AND PROMISED LEGAL HELP FOR MY SON AND THE TRUTH IS MY SON RECIEVED NO HELP I WAS PROMISED, IT WAS ALL A LIE TO GET ME TO DO VOLUNTEER WORK FOR THEM ( INCLUDING GOING TO OUR POLICE STATIONS WEARING A WIRE, ASKING FOR A COMPLAINT FORM AND RECORDING THEIR RESPONSE, BECAUSE I DID THIS, DAVID GOLDSTEIN KCAL9 CAME TO MY TOWN AND INCLUDED OUR POLICE IN A SEGMENT CALLED, BEEF WITH THE BADGE, DIOP HIMSELF HEARD WHAT I RECORDED AND WAS THE PERSON WHO HAD DAVID CALL ME) BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT I DID NOT HAVE ALOT OF MONEY SO I RECIEVED NO HELP. I WAS ALWAYS BRUSHED OFF BY DIOP KAMAU AND REFERRED TO AN EMPLOYEE NAMED TONY LEDBETTER, THAT I WAS TOLD AFTER ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF OF BEING TRANSFERRED OR REFERRED TO HIM BY DIOP HIMSELF WAS ARRESTED FOR STEALING MONEY FROM CLIENTS. I WAS ANGRY THAT DIOP ALLOWED ME TO BE LED TO BELIEVE MY SON WOULD GET LEGAL HELP AND THAT DIOP HIMSELF KEPT PUTTING ME IN CONTACT WITH THIS KIND OF PERSON. I THREATEND TO GO PUBLIC AND EXPOSE THE POLICE COMPLAINT CENTER AND TO COVER HIS ACTION DIOP ACCUSED ME OF BEING INVOLVED WITH THIS TONY. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE FROM THE STATE OF OREGON HAVE BEEN IN OUR TOWN PAYING PEOPLE TO HARASS AND DRIVE ME CRAZY, TONY LIVED IN OREGON. WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT DIOPS ACCUASATIONS, I SPOKE TO HIM MYSELF AND OFFERED TO TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST, I WANTED THIS NIGHTMARE TO END. DIOP TOLD ME THAT HE NEVER TOLD ANYONE THAT HE THOUGHT I WAS INVOLVED, HE WAS A LIAR! I AM SORRY, I TRIED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, TO BE ABLE TO HELP PEOPLE FROM POLICE ABUSE BUT I CAN'T DO IT MYSELF, NOBODY CARES, NOBODY WILL HELP AND THEY HAVE KILLED ME AND ANY HOPE FOR THE FUTURE, I JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE, I CAN'T FEEL ANYTHING!

In behalf of my son Ryan, whom I love with all my heart, this site is for him.
Ryan, my son 22 years old and who has never been in trouble ever was arrested on false charges on January 28th, 2001 by the San Bernardino Sheriffs Department (Apple valley Sheriffs). The Officer who arrested him on false charges made a comment in front of other family members that "I should teach him a lesson for opening his big mouth". I suppose to really punish him is why he was taken all the way to the West Valley Detention Center. From the moment he arrived, he was tormented, abused and deliberately and spitefully denied his Constitutional Rights.
My name is Laureen Richards. I am a mother of a 22 year old boy. Ryan is 22 but looks like he's 17. My son is a good boy and a kind compassionate person. Ryan is kind to everyone and has a talent working with children and animals. My sister has a 13 year old son and she is raising him by herself. My nephew, Mark, looks up to my son Ryan so much. Ryan knows he does not have his father around so Ryan always finds room to spend time with Mark so he could have a man to talk to and do guy things with. Ryan is not a criminal, he has never harmed anyone or anything. On January 28th,2001, just because he loved his aunt and didn't want any harm to come to her Ryan was arrested on false charges just because a cop wanted to show this innocent kid how tough and powerful he was.
It has been over 1 year since this has taken place. I have not worked since February of 2001. I have lost my hair twice due to stress. I see a therapist weekly and take medication. I can't sleep unless I take medicine and sometime the medicine does not work. I lay down and start to think about everything the police did to my son Ryan. I can't forget. I can't forget the things they did to him, how they treated me, how they lied, the way they talked to me and the terrible things they did purposely to my son. I have been trying to get Social Security for over 1 year I am still in the process of trying to get it. The San Bernardino destroyed my life. Wearing a badge and hurting them,having "power" over them does not make them men! They may be able to do these things to people and get away with it now, but there will be a time they have to answer to a higher authority, God! I know they think they are " Above All, Above the Law", but they are not and one day they will have to answer for who they hurt! They took my son Ryan, my only child and did what they wanted to him. I am his mother and I love my son Ryan with all my heart so you can imagine what I was feeling knowing what they were doing and saying to him, scaring and tormenting him and me, his own mother, could do nothing to help him. I do not wish any other parent to have to go thru this. You will never forget it! |

RYAN DESERVES THE PROPER LEGAL REPRESENTATION
I used all the cash and assest to bail my son out of jail. I even used my rent money and bill money because I knew that the San Bernardino Sheriffs Department play dirty and I knew his life was in danger. The evening when my son called me and told me that they had moved him to another cell. Ryan told me that they transferred him to a cell where they really hardcore inmates were. When he was being transferred the officer that was in charge of that cell questioned it. He asked my son why they were putting him there. The officer was also concerned somewhat and then did the transfer anyway. The minute my son entered the cell other male inmatates were cheering and saying to drop his pants, fresh meat. My son was terrified. You could not Imagine the anguish and pain I felt inside. I did not know what to do. I could not find anyone who would go against the cops. |
